Inktober, for those who aren’t familiar, is an annual drawing challenge that was started by Jake Parker in 2009. The original idea was that a list of 30 prompts would be released at the end of September and the goal is to produce one sketch a day using the day’s prompt, preferably in ink, through the month of October. But over the years, other artists have also put out their own prompt lists, encouraging the use of media other than ink.
So for 2020's Inktober, I decided to use prompts by artist Sha’an d’Anthes, also known as furrylittlepeach. I love her work, especially her use of colour and playfully clever & skilful compositions across different media. These sketches are inspired by some of her work. And also a little by Dr.Suess, a childhood favourite.
