Hello, there! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. :)
The drawing above perhaps best illustrates who I am and what my mode of working is. I am essentially an observer/a prober/a collector/an explorer, wanting to dig deeper and deeper into the labyrinthine maze that is the universe - the human-made world of culture and history ofcourse, but more interestingly and much more importantly, to find out what lies beyond this din.
It has been a quest to find people who are asking meaningful questions, exploring vital human/nature/planet-centric ideas, unearthing and retelling important stories from our past and reimagining alternative futures with individuals and communities, and not the replaceable ‘citizen‘, at the centre of their work. This website is a documentation of the outputs of this very search, that has led me through the doors of some very interesting organisations and the minds of some brilliant people, resulting in meaningful projects, which have in turn fuelled my own personal explorations to further these questions.
These works, done over a span of a decade and continuing (2014-now), are a mix of both hand-drawn and digital media, ranging from purely illustrative projects to a blend of drawing and graphic design. A lot of these works are long and immersive sketch series, done over spans of weeks to months and in some cases, even years. So I would recommend you take your time to delve into each page and look at each of the images to the very end. And hopefully, you won't be disappointed.
Do write to me if you'd like to chat about my work, ask me questions or if you have an interesting idea in mind that you'd like to explore together, that is in alignment with any of the things I‘ve said or what you're about to see. I'm always open to exciting ideas and I'd love to work with you.
Enjoy and do come back again!
