In 2020, Hyderabad Urban Lab had the idea of doing a Cafè-style relaxed gathering for PhD students, where once a week people could come to the office to discuss their research with each other, take advice of mentors in-house, refer to HUL's extensive library on all things urban and maybe feel a sense of community amongst a self selected set of peers through what is generally a solitary academic experience.
Although the Cafè remained an idea, this drawing was the result of it, mainly to understand what it could look like if it did materialise and if it could be used in a poster to publicise the idea.
